Summary: "Wonderfully crafted stories of women through generations!"

Lynn Austin is awesome writer. Through her descriptions and dialogues, she takes you right there to the scenes. The family that is full of secrets finally open up about their pasts. What they did not have in their lives when they were growing up, they looked for it when they were building their own nests.
Lynn Austin does not paint over painful things of life. Also, she includes times of happiness.
The book is very well written. I highly recommend this book.

This was my second book by Lynn Austin and it was absolutely wonderful. It was well written and very interesting containing historical facts and a very compelling storyline. Can't wait to read more of her books.

Summary: "Favorite New Author"

I recently "discovered" Lynn Austin and absolutely love her. Eve's Daughters is one of the best books I have ever read. It is rich in relationships and the consequences of the choices the characters made and how those choices affected the generations to come. I also love her perspective on the social issues of the time periods in which Eve's Daughters takes place. She really gives you a lot to think about. I have read two more Lynn Austin books since Eve's Daughters and am looking forward to reading anything and everything she has written.

Summary: "Great generational book about 4 women's lives"

Coming to America from Germany as a new mother and scared bride. Leaving family and friends to start over. It's a endearing story of a families saga and especially the lives of 3 women. They settle in a German area of Pennsylvania and the father becomes the Pastor of a church in their small community. But, this story takes us to the streets of New York. Hard time, sad times, happy times, and inspirational times. If you like stories about histories of families and how they make it through life with all its twists and turns you'll love this book. The characters are all wonderful and you will become part of the family.
One of my favorite Christian authors and one of her best books. I loved "Eve's Daughters".
